Car parks, warehouses and derelict plots used to populate this 5.7-hectare site to the north-west of London’s Wembley Stadium – poor use of a rich location, in our opinion. We’re fully regenerating the neighbourhood, giving it a high-quality overhaul that will bring it in line with the wider physical, economic and social redevelopment of the area.
At the centre of our residential-led design is a lively neighbourhood hosting up to 1,300 new homes, all of which integrate with wider public infrastructure. A new hotel, shopping street, and various workspaces and leisure facilities will establish a community feel, and cater to both event-day visitors and the local population. The site is self-sufficient but not cut off, thanks to new north-south and east-west connections to the wider area.
After completing our masterplan, we handed the project on for it to be realised – setting this bit of land up to match its surroundings, including the world-class stadium beside it. That’s sure to give Wembley another reason to cheer.
The regeneration of Wembley is hugely important for the borough. The plans will provide a boost to our local economy [...] and our residents will have a new neighbourhood where communities and local businesses can thrive.
