Liam Bonnar
Architecture, LondonLiam has worked on several key education, office, hospitality and transport schemes since joining Make in 2015 and qualifying as an architect in 2017, including the RIBA Award-winning Teaching and Learning Building for the University of Nottingham. He’s also contributed to designs for a net zero carbon transit network in China, multiple office buildings in the Arena Central masterplan in Birmingham, and is currently delivering an office scheme in Westminster, which features the UK’s largest rebuilt facade.
Having worked on several projects within Westminster, Liam is experienced at designing high-end projects in sensitive heritage contexts, balancing preservation with sustainable interventions.
Outside of his architectural work, he co-leads Make’s NextGen group, helping to focus its activities, and he’s on the Westminster Property Association NextGen Committee. He also participates in several mentoring programmes for aspiring architects and is part of Make’s own heritage and Make Neutral groups.
