Make Sportive 2017 - Make建筑事务所

The inaugural Make Architects Sportive took place on the 21-22 September. An 100-mile cycle ride from Cheltenham to Make HQ in London with some of our clients, friends and colleagues.

The two-day affair kicked off on the Thursday at the Make-designed Malmaison Cheltenham (formally the Montpellier Chapter), where all the cyclists gathered for the night to enjoy dinner and a talk from inspirational speaker and polar explorer Ben Saunders.

It was a bright and early start the next morning as the cyclists set off at 7.30am after their hearty breakfast to tackle the 177km route. The target destination for the next refuelling stop was Burford where the cyclists enjoyed coffee and cake next to Warwick Hall. Then it was back on the bikes and through the countryside before stopping for lunch in the Chilterns. The final leg saw green fields swapped for the bustling city as the pack rode on to the Make studio for a congratulatory cold drink.
