Oliver Hall
Architecture, LondonOliver joined Make in 2017, and in 2019 he established our dedicated sustainability team and working group, Make Neutral, which he continues to lead. He champions sustainable design and research-based solutions both in-house and in the wider industry, and he played a key role in defining Make’s sustainability roadmap, including our transition to B Corp.
Oliver worked on 80 Charlotte Street, a major mixed-use scheme in Fitzrovia comprising commercial, residential and urban design. Designed to be net zero carbon, it’s the first all-electric building for developer Derwent London.
He’s currently leading the design team for the 240-acre Crescent Salford masterplan, a regenerative project that combines urban design, commercial, residential, infrastructure, education and innovation uses.
Oliver is the BCO NextGen London and Southeast Chair and a member of the RIBA Schools Visiting Board, which validates schools of architecture across the UK. He’s also a USGBC LEED-accredited professional (building design and construction) and an Associate Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University.
