Valerio D’Angelantonio
Sustainability, LondonValerio is Make’s in-house sustainable design coordinator. He joined in 2022 and works with all our studios to integrate sustainable design solutions and deliver project-specific zero carbon roadmaps.
His holistic approach to sustainability seeks to reconnect people with nature and balance the impact of human activities on the planet. His work covers a range of topics including energy and carbon efficiency, the circular economy, wellbeing, and community impact. Valerio previously worked as a sustainability coordinator on schemes located in Europe, Asia, the USA and the Middle East spanning various sectors including architecture and industrial design.
He graduated in 2020 with a Double Master’s Degree in Architecture and Building Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and also spent a year abroad in Spain in the schools of architecture and construction engineering at the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia. During his Master’s, Valerio was also given the opportunity to design a mixed-use civic centre in Hong Kong as part of his thesis with the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Valerio is a qualified architect in Italy, and is currently working towards registration with the ARB. He also became a WELL Accredited Professional in 2023. Outside the office, he likes competing in crossfit competitions and is passionate about aviation, photography and mindfulness.”
