Make’s Regine Kandan is kicking off the NLA’s Inspiring Women series in a talk about Hornsey Town Hall on Tuesday 21 January from 6.30pm – 8.30pm.
The Grade II* listed Art Deco landmark is currently undergoing a sensitive restoration and will retain many of its original features, including the stunning grand staircases, terrazzo flooring, and original ironmongery. It will be transformed into an arts centre, hotel, co-working space and more, combining history, culture and modern living.
Regine will be joined in the discussion by several inspiring women who have been involved in the project:
Claire Brady, Historic England
Elisabetta Tonazzi, Haringey Council
Anusha Le Vasan, Fulkers Bailey Russell
Tickets available via the NLA website: https://nla.london/events/civic-charm-the-transformation-of-hornsey-town-hall
