Post COVID-19 – What's next for higher education design?

With a new academic year about to start in the UK, we co-hosted an international online debate with the Higher Education Design Quality Forum, to delve into the effects of COVID-19 on University estates.

The event was chaired by Jack Sallabank from the Future Places Studio and our panel included:

– Alex Lawlor, Executive Director of Estate Planning and Development from the University of Melbourne
– Siu Man Fung, Director of Campus Development from the Chinese University of Hong Kong
– Julian Robinson, Director of Estates from the London School of Economics
– David Patterson who leads education design for Make.

Watch the video to find out more about the immediate impact of COVID-19 in the UK, Hong Kong and Australia, and what the future holds for university estate planning and design.
