Oliver joined Make in 2017, and in 2019 he established our dedicated sustainability team and working group, Make Neutral, which he continues to lead. He champions sustainable design and research-based solutions both in-house and in the wider industry, and he played a key role in defining Make’s sustainability roadmap, including our transition to B Corp.

Oliver worked on 80 Charlotte Street, a major mixed-use scheme in Fitzrovia comprising commercial, residential and urban design. Designed to be net zero carbon, it’s the first all-electric building for developer Derwent London.

He’s currently leading the design team for the 240-acre Crescent Salford masterplan, a regenerative project that combines urban design, commercial, residential, infrastructure, education and innovation uses.

Oliver is the BCO NextGen London and Southeast Chair and a member of the RIBA Schools Visiting Board, which validates schools of architecture across the UK. He’s also a USGBC LEED-accredited professional (building design and construction) and an Associate Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University.
