Our interiors scheme is solely inspired by its setting, using timbers, marble and stone to express the natural materiality of the park, with its grey gums and classic Australian dappled light.
“Likewise Garth’s installations are perfect for the project – sculptural, evocative and playful. We wanted the display suite to translate the uniqueness of these homes and to have a piece of interpretive art as the centrepiece. This one, which is so in tune with its surroundings, is faultless.”
Visitors are taken on a carefully curated journey through the marketing suite, with each of the clover petals acting like a self-contained pod. Some demonstrate the superior standard of materials and fixtures, while others, like Garth Knight’s tree pod, provide a more sensory experience. Elsewhere in the suite is a beautifully crafted timber and rope swing and a lounge and kitchen area where visitors can choose their preferred home within the scheme and even select their finishes and fittings.

Alongside influencing the space planning and layout of the homes, Make has designed three different interior finishes for the bathrooms, kitchens and specific pieces of joinery within the homes, as well as a range of uplift points so purchasers can create a home that suits their style and personality.
Choosing from light, dark or timber colourways, purchasers can opt for matte white, matte charcoal lacquer or timber veneer interior finishes, all with Gaggenau appliances. Kitchen islands have been designed as bespoke credenzas to provide storage and act as a beautiful additional piece of joinery with wraparound detailing. Splashbacks feature finely detailed marble with Corian surrounds. Bathrooms feature expansive picture mirrors to reflect the surroundings, as well as porcelain or sandstone tiles and fully integrated cantilevered Corian or Calacatta oro marble vanity benches.

One Sydney Park is the latest in a string of high-profile projects won by Make Architects from its Sydney studio.
